Group Sales and Information
We would like to invite you and your group to enjoy Ski Santa Fe. The city of Santa Fe's diverse culture and history provide visitors with an unforgettable experience. A 400-year old plaza, museums, galleries and distinctive restaurants are just part of what makes Santa Fe unique.Just 30 minutes from Santa Fe, Ski Santa Fe offers a wide variety of terrain for all ski/snowboard abilities. Ski Santa Fe has a vertical rise of 1,725 feet and is one of the highest ski areas in North America. You will find something for all members of your group on our 69 trails (20% beginner, 40% intermediate and 40% advanced). Ski Santa Fe has 7 lifts accessing this diverse terrain, a PSIA certified ski school, Chipmunk Corner (our "one stop kid drop" children's facility, serving ages 3 months to 11 years), cafe, outdoor grill, mid-mountain grill and lounge, and a new, more affordable teen ticket.
Group Policies
To qualify for group rates your group must have 15 or more skiers/snowboarders skiing on the same dates. In addition, there must be one organizer to work with the group sales department. You will receive discounts on lift tickets, lessons, rentals, children's ski school and much more. Each group will receive one complimentary lift ticket for every 15-lift tickets purchased. You may also receive complimentary rentals and lessons provided that your group purchases rentals and lessons. Rentals
Our rental fleet has been expanded to meet all your needs. We offer a basic rental package, high performance ski equipment, and snowboards. Multi-day rentals are available. Some say that the hardest part of skiing is the rental shop. Let us make it as easy as possible. There is a refundable $350 deposit on all high performance skis/boots/poles and snowboard/boot packages.
Ski Lessons
Our PSIA certified ski school provides group lessons for "never ever" skiers/snowboarders, for those intermediates in your group who may need to hone up on their skills, or racing and bump clinics. You must call to make reservations for private lessons. Group lessons go out every day at 10:00 am, 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm. We do provide snowboard lessons for people 8 years old and over. All snowboard lessons are taught at the Snow Sports School. Ski lessons at the Snow Sports School start at age 11. Snowboard lessons at the Snow Sports School start at 8.
Chipmunk Corner
Our children's ski school is a full service facility offering separate ticketing, rentals, lunchroom, playroom and restrooms. The outdoor learning area includes a fenced children's ski and snow play area complete with it's own rope tow. Lessons are offered to children ages 3-11, all children must be toilet trained. Children's instructors receive special training designed specifically for youngsters. Chipmunk Corner also offers daycare for children 3 months to 3 years old. 3 and 4 year olds may participate in snow play. Reservations are recommended for Chipmunk Corner. Space is limited. Ski Racing
A special race can be arranged just for your group. A group race requires 15 people and is based on nationally recognized standards of ski race handicapping. Arrangements to reserve the course should be made in advance. The race course is open Thursday through Sunday and on holidays. Arrangements can be made to open the course on other days for a group with 35 or more people. If you want to ease into racing let us give your group an introduction into ski racing.
Food and Beverage
Ski Santa Fe offers reasonably priced breakfast and lunch menus. Arrangements can be made for your group to receive a lunch or breakfast coupon for a fixed amount and covering specific menu items. If this is a service for your group, please contact the group sales office and we can hlep make the arangements.
Lockers
We have ski, snowboard and boot lockers at the ski area. These lockers cost $.75 per use and are on a first come first serve basis.
Daily Snow Reporting
Receive our snow report daily, while making your group plans. Please go to our web site at www.skisantafe.com/snowreport, there you will find a spot to sign up for this service. Watch the snow accumulate with each storm.
The following conditions apply in order for your group to be eligible for group rates:
1. A minimum of 15 or more skiers skiing on the same dates.
2. One organizer to work with ski area staff and one payment for each group.
3. Advance notice of 14 days or more.
